Hemp Fibre Plus is naturally produced from UK grown hemp seed, processed at our award-winning factory here in Wiltshire. It has a lower protein/fibre ratio and a slightly more course texture than Hemp Protein 40 (P40) which is reflected in the price. It is a free-flowing powder, brown/green in colour with a mild, nutty taste, milled from seed cake after the oil has been removed by cold pressing (defatted). It is mechanically processed only using no heat or chemicals.
Application
Hemp Fibre Plus has a lower protein/fibre ratio and a more course texture that P40 which is reflected in the price. Given its high fibre content (47% fibre and 29% protein) it is often used to fortify or enhance an existing product where both dietary fibre and protein are required. Hemp Fibre Plus is also used as a browning agent.

- FIBRE: The most remarkable benefits of the product comes from its fibre content a total of 47%. Soluble fibre turns into a nourishing gel in the gut that promotes a healthy microbiome. The other component, insoluble fibre increases gut transit times and helps to regulate gut functionality.

PROTEINS: Fibre Plus naturally contains all 20 amino acids along with the easily digestible proteins edestin (65%) and albumin (35%) both of which are critical to ongoing health.

MINERAL AND VITAMINS: Hemp Fibre Plus naturally contains plenty of nutrients like vitamins E and B (including folate) along with a bevy of minerals, such as phosphorous, potassium, magnesium, zinc, selenium, calcium, copper and iron. All of these contribute to supporting immunity at a cellular level and creating antibodies to fight free radicals and bacteria.
