Protein/Fibre Ratio 43/32%
Hemp Protein 40% is naturally produced from UK grown hemp seed, processed at our award-winning factory here in Wiltshire. It has a lower protein/fibre ratio and a slightly more course texture than Hemp Protein 50 (P50) which is reflected in the price. A highly versatile, nutrient dense powder milled to 300 microns, it is a free-flowing powder, brown/green in colour with a mild, nutty taste. It is milled from seed cake after the oil has been removed by cold pressing (defatted). It is mechanically processed only using no heat or chemicals.
