Application
Hemp Seed Oil can be used in applications that are traditionally served by virgin olive oil in food manufacturing, salad dressings, mayonnaise, hummus, sauces, soups etc. It is also often used in skin care formulations due to is abilities as an emollient; its naturally occurring linoleic acid and gamma-linolenic acid helps to support the skin in its natural cycle of repair and regeneration; it’s also non-comedogenic, which means it won’t block pores and naturally has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties.
Overview: Great omega 3, 6 and 9 profile, rich in vitamins and minerals, low in saturated fat and rich in polyunsaturated fat, no sugar or salt, very low in carbs, along with its non-allergenicity and a mild flavour are just a few of the useful attributes for food manufacturers and domestic users alike.

I rescued a 17month old Springer/Labrador bred from quality working stock. The eventual owners abused the pup to a very high level leaving this very intelligent dog with serious mental scars. It took at least 2 months for him to trust me as his new
owner. But those scars ran deep. He would have nightmares waking up growling, snarling of barking. I set up a night vision camera in his sleeping area, the resulting recordings were quite upsetting. I have learned there is not a mean streak in this boy as he has become gentle, loving, loyal and loves being trained for his role as a working
dog. As months passed his nightmares reduced a little as we progressed on together and his confidence grew. I mentioned his behaviour to an equestrian friend who immediately suggested trying Hemp Oil as it is given to “Skittish” horses to calm them.
After making numerous enquires on the net I decided to give it a try at one small dose per day poured on his food - he likes it licking every trace.
Now, after 2 months he has not had a single relapse now being an even more happier boy. Some 15years ago I rescued a pup that was being abused by young children dragging him around by his collar. It was more than a year before he allowed me to hold his collar and another 2 years before he got over his original traumas. He passed away recently aged 14 and possibly the best dog/companion I’ve ever had.
The reason I’ve mentioned this is if Hemp Oil will help erase or shorten his past memories it will be all the better for the both of us.
As a bonus his short black coat now gleams as the light catches it, black and silver. He is now less cautious of people he does not know and is willing to be petted without shying away.
I’ll definitely buy again
I have used a different brand of hemp oil for a couple of years but then found UK Hemp and bought it in bulk from them. I'm very happy with the product. Judging by the greener colour and thicker consistency, it seems to me that it has more of the goodness left in it. Anyway, I'm enjoying using it on my breakfast (fruit, nuts, seeds), on salads and for cooking.
